Save files to a folder on windows 10. Docker setup

Hello experts,

My docker compose file is as below:

name: nextcloud

services:
app:
image: nextcloud
restart: always
ports:
- 8088:80
env_file:
- .env
environment:
NEXTCLOUD_DATADIR: “/var/www/html/data/c/temp”
NEXTCLOUD_TRUSTED_DOMAINS: ${NEXTCLOUD_TD}

During 1st run (initialization) at http://localhost:8088/ , I keep data folder values default (/var/www/html/data).

After the setup is complete, uploading some txt file, I dont see it in c:\temp.

Please help to setup the docker compose, or what should be the data folder value during the initialization run?

Thanks.

I don’t see any bind mounts or volumes in your Docker Compose file, which would be necessary for your data to be persisted outside of the Docker container.

What @mritzmann said with some links specific to that Docker image:

Persistent data

Compose w/ volumes
