I have an issue with SAML authentication. I sync users with LDAP, use sync groups as default, and assign specific groups in NextCloud. It worked fine until I recently upgraded to 20 to 21. I only did this to correct the SAML user detection issue when SAML was reporting a guid for the user id. Now when a SAML user performs a login, all assigned groups are remove from the user object, the only one that remains is the group the user is synced from.
