I am trying to upload 18GB files to a LAN nextcloud instance and they are not completing on the Mac/Safari. There are no errors, it just freezes when the bar reaches 100%.
When uploading via Linux/Firefox they finish fine.
Is this a known issue with nextcloud?
You mean with the desktop client?
Desktop clients uploads chunks of the file and needs a temp storage large enough to hold it:

Check your server’s logfiles for more details about why it fails. The template may help if you don’t know which information to provide.
