Reuse usb drive after usage in NEXTCLOUDPI on a raspberry pi 3b

Hi I recently tried out (current) nextcloudpi with an external drive (via usb). Now to reuse and reformat the drive. But because now when I try to plugin in the drive on another PC I can not find it anymore. The original sd with the nextcloudpi image is reused. I put an rasbian on it.

Does anyone have a solution?

Nextcloud version: 13.0.4
Operating system and version nextcloudpi (raspbeian 9)
Apache or nginx version 2.4.25
PHP version:7.0

The issue you are facing: In most of my atempts the drive is not listed. In some cases I can find the drive for half a second or so.
Tried it with a Xubuntu 18.04 and win10.

NextCloudPi formats the usb drive to btrfs filesystem. You can use Gparted on a linux installation or any other disk managing tool to format it in whatever filesystem you want (example fat32).
