After I created a new user, I use to login using his credentials to setup a few basics (eg mail details) for the new user.

At these first login I am faced with a small intro. I myself don’t need that, but it is nice for a new user.

Any chance to reset a kind of “login counter” to the effect the welcome message will be presented the next time a user logs in?

TIA.

I think you must modify the Nextcloud database. Read [here](https://help.nextcloud.com/t/how-to-force-first-run-wizard-to-to-show-for-user-on-their-next-login/31011).

App [First run wizard](https://github.com/nextcloud/firstrunwizard)

Personally, I would not make any changes to the database for this. I would rather create a small presentation outside of Nextcloud. You can then perhaps also go into the special features of your own Nexcloud e.g. installed apps.

Perfect thanks and your proposal with a small presentation makes much sense, too.
