Request for MFA Support for Guest / External Accounts in Nextcloud

Hello,

I would like to ask whether Nextcloud currently provides any form of Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA) specifically compatible with Guest accounts created through the Guests app.

In my testing, it appears that Guest accounts are not treated as regular internal Nextcloud users, which results in MFA not applying to them even when global or group MFA enforcement is enabled. Because of this, external collaborators using Guest accounts cannot benefit from the MFA system already in place.

Could you please confirm:

1. Is there an MFA mechanism available for Guest or external accounts?

2. If not, is it possible for the development team to consider adding MFA support for Guest accounts in a future version?
   This would be extremely useful for environments where external collaborators need secured access but should not receive full user accounts.

We have MFA enforced in our organization for guest account through the Guest app.
We had to enable this setting:

And install this apps

Then when a guest user logs on the first time they have to configure MFA.

Maybe I had to play with these settings but not sure:
