Renaming a shared folder removes the share

I have shared a folder with a group of people.

Then I renamed this folder, and the share was lost. All data vanished from the other users’ devices.

I have now shared the (renamed) folder again – but is this intended? Seems like a bug to me.

I would expect the share not to get lost when I rename the shared folder. In fact, I would expect the name to remain the same on the other users’ side as it was when I initially shared the folder.
