Refusing to upload "unknown error"

Frustratingly I’m getting a lot of failed uploads due to “unknown error”.
I see no errors in the NC log on the server, and when I switch to the NC beta (20161129) it uploads perfectly fine.

This appears to be similar to it refusing to upload duplicate files, but as these haven’t been uploaded to the folder I’m trying to store them in, I don’t understand what the issue could be.

Furthermore, for the next release can you look at building in some verbose logging? If it fails for unknown reasons, I’d like to be able to pull up a log within the app to see what’s going on.

the unknown error in stable while working in beta seems strange since both pretty much have the same library version in use. The logging is on my todo list but I can’t say if I find the time to do it for the next release, probably for the next minor 1.5.0 but maybe not for a bugfix release 1.4.1.

@tobiasKaminsky any idea that comes to your mind why this might happen?
