Refreshng OC Template on Guest Page

Hello, I was hoping to find a way to refresh the guest page with a new languge on a button click.

In templateLayout.php in lib\private theres a code snippet : $this->assign(‘language’, $lang);

I wanted to use this again and set a language on the guest/login page , any help would be appericated
