Nextcloud version (eg, 29.0.5): Last 27.x
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 24.04): Ubuntu 22.04

The issue you are facing:

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): N

Steps to replicate it:

  1. create a recurrent event with 3 peoples.
  2. UserB decline the event and then proceed to delete the whole serie.
  3. UserC accept the event.
  4. Now UserB has the recurrent event in the calendar.

basically any change on the recurrent event recreate the event and you see it again.

The big problem with this is that “declined” events still marks as Busy in free/busy availability.
Any idea about this and how to proceed ?
I think here the best solution is to ask the organizer to remove UserB from that recurrent event… but maybe im missing something . thanks!
