Running NCPi on Raspberry Pi 4b, I encountered a package error during apt upgrade which looked very similar to the one described here:

> [@Internal Server Error After Php8.3 Upgrade on 12 Apr NCP 1.55.3 on RPi5](https://help.nextcloud.com/t/internal-server-error-after-php8-3-upgrade-on-12-apr-ncp-1-55-3-on-rpi5/222576/2):

Unfortunately, instead of performing the solution giving there, I rebooted the device, rendering the SD card unbootable.

Is there a way to replicate the actions that the steps following

armbian upgrade

would do “from external” on the SD card to make the existing system bootable again, or do I need to reflash a new image?

Solved, at least got it workable again!

I copied the SD card RPICFG partition, where there were quite a few files missing, from a fresh image. That allowed me to boot and run the commands above (armbian-upgrade wasn’t available, but the rest worked). Not sure how viable the resulting configuration is now, but it’s running for now, and more importantly, I have most recent backups now.
