Ransomware protection: how to whitelist a folder?

Hi all!
Is there a way to whitelist a folder?
I auto upload a folder where there are backups automatically created with Neo Backup (and other backups) that have extensions that are recognized as encrypted by a ransomware.
Is there a way to whitelist that folder instead of exclude those extensions?

I have the same issue. Encrypted android backups lead to the android client being blocked.
