I have a question about deleting an account from the Nextcloud app and I would like to make sure how exactly this function works.
After going to the account management settings and clicking on the account I want to delete, the message appears: “Delete local account (Delete account from device and delete all local files)”. I wonder if deleting an account from the Nextcloud app also deletes all local files on the device?
I would like to understand if I am interpreting this message correctly. If I decide to delete (or unlink) an account from the app, will all data such as photos, videos and other files saved locally on the device also be deleted? In my opinion, this would be a bit illogical, because if we delete an account from the Nextcloud app on our smartphone, we would lose access to all local files, such as photos, that are located on the device’s memory.
Does anyone have experience with this issue and could explain how it works in practice? I would be grateful for any help and tips.
