It would be really great if the Nextcloud apps (Nextcloud Android, Nextcloud Notes, etc.) would be part of this phone’s application choices by default from the release onward. Has anyone already taken a look and taken interest in this project?
They will support Android Apps in the future, so you should be able to run the Nextcloud Android client.

Thanks for looking into this.
Running Android apps is actually a 10 million stretch goal which could take a long time. For developing an app, June is actually quite close-by, which is why I wanted to bring this to the attention.
It is an opportunity to build the nextcloud app on a truely privacy-oriented mobile phone, which aligns with the Nextcloud philosophy.
Ubuntu Touch Apps should be fairly easy to get running on this. See:
