Problems while generating share link in Documents app

I am facing the below problem while trying to share the document with share link.

After click on share button and then selecting share link is throwing ā€œError while sharing messageā€

Can someone please help me.

really important feature, but iā€™ve been out of luck with it since owncloud 9ā€¦so i presume this hasnā€™t been fixed.

Same here. Should this be perhaps reported to github issues?

Looks like it still doesnā€™t work in nextcloud 10.0.2.

Additionally, accessing the edit link nextcloud/public.php?service=documents (finally created using the usual sharing applet in the files section, then getting back to the share applet in the document section) leads to an almost empty page, just the background them image.
