The issue you are facing: trying to locate and edit the theming file according to this link:

The goal is to disable the iOS notification that Safari shows when going to a nextcloud site. Problem is finding the theme files. The theme app is enabled in Nextcloud, but there appears to be no /nextcloud/themes folder - so I cannot edit the defaults.php file - " You can find it in the example theme ( /themes/example/defaults.php )".
