Problem with iMac and Nextcloud Desktop app

Nextcloud version 2.6.4
iMac (Retina 4K, 21,5-inch, 2019)
Processor 3,6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3

I’m trying to download the Nextcloud Desktop App on my iMAC

  1. First step on the Installation Wizard works fine
  2. Step 2 (where I’m supposed to come to a login page) the page is just blank / white

I have tried to uninstall /install the app about 10 times now, same problem. Installed the app on 2 other Macbook Pro’s and never experienced this problem.

Please help!

Try the v.2.3.3

You just saved my day, week, month! Thank you soooo much!

You can put this topic as solved.
The v.2.5.x to v.2.6.3 were really buggy.
But i don’t have problems with v.2.6.4 anymore.
If you have blank page usually it’s a problem on your server or the client because ssl handshake worked bad.

nope, I still have the topic with 2.6.4…

Indeed. I was frustrated for a few days with this having a fresh install of macOS on an old MacBook Air. The latest version still gives this undesirable behavior where I cannot actually log in once I’ve entered the server information. Just a white screen with a blue bar and with the buttons for “back” and “next” cut off the bottom of the screen to boot. Using the older version that was linked to here works fine, however.

I should add, this is not my own server, it’s

Cool - this worked for me too. Thanks! :rocket:

However took me a minute to figure out that I had to drag nextcloud out of the applications folder first before installing this one.

Thank you for this topic! I was having the same problem and could get version 3.1.3 to work on my MacBook Air 10.13.6 so I downloaded your version provided.

Worked perfectly and synced right off the bat. So i then decided for kicks to try and download the newest version 3.1.3 since I had it to see if it would upgrade good and work!

It worked perfectly and upgraded and now works great! Thank you
