Problem Email Server Settings Nextcloud Box

Hi,
while trying to enter my Email settings i get this error code:
> Beim Senden der E-Mail ist ein Problem aufgetreten. Bitte überprüfen Sie Ihre Einstellungen.

(Fehler: Expected response code 220 but got code "", with message "+OK IMAP ready.")

What can i do to avoid this???

where did you try to enter them?
what exactly did you enter?

I wouldn’t know that there are different places to enter email settings. :frowning:
I enter my data in “additional data”, “Email settings” and then
Modus: SMTP
Encryption: none
Senders Address: my address
Authentification: register
Server address: my server
Credentials: credentials

I have tried numerous combinations. This one seems to contact at least the server. The details are taken from my usual credentials when connecting (successfully) via Thunderbird.

It seems that the problem is solved.
I just left out the 110 as host. My host field is blank now. That did the trick

apparently your mailserver expected something that your settings in NC didn’t convey.
