Problem after latest update

Support intro

I am using the AIO docker version of NC ( Nextcloud AIO v9.7.0)
Yesterday, accessing the control panel I saw that there was an update and I performed the usual procedure:
from the management page I stopped the containers and then I started the update which however did not complete correctly.
Three containers (certainly apache, push and another that I do not remember) did not restart and warned me that they were in a loop and to try to shut down and restart the containers… but nothing to do, it did not work.
I entered the apache container to see the logs but I did not find anything interesting.
What can I do? In which log should I look?

root@raspi4misc:~# docker ps

Please restore from backup and try again!
If you do not have a backup in place, you can simply delete the update.failed file in the datadir which will allow the container to start again.

Hi, this is the solution

hi szaimen,
tnx for your answer, so i must only delete this file?

/var/lib/docker/volumes/nextcloud_aio_nextcloud_data/_data/update.failed

and the restart?

Yes. However better to restore a backup.

It worked!
Thanks for the support.
So (to understand) in this case this type of error was due to external causes that did not allow the update to be successful at that time and since I removed that file the system tried to do it again?

You would need to look at update.log to check why the update failed.

But as I said, best is to restore a backup in such a case.

Ok, i will check next time (now all ok).
But if i would to create a backup by AIO interface… the process backup only conf or also the file stored?
Because I mount NAS folder with data so i don’t need to backup data but only NC config.
