Privacy module says files not protected by encryption

Nextcloud version: 19.0.1
Operating system and version: Ubuntu 18.04.4
Apache or nginx version: Apache/2.4.29
PHP version: 7.2

The issue you are facing:

Server-side encryption is on and functioning but in the privacy module it says files are not protected with encryption.

Changing the setting to say that it’s full-disk encryption is a lie.
It needs to say that the files are encrypted

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Configure server-side encryption
  2. Check privacy settings

I’m experiencing the same issue here. It seems the Privacy app is not detecting the encryption settings.

Hey @Eviepayne, this seems to be solved with the release of Nextcloud version 19.0.3 today. At least I can confirm the Privacy module now reports the correct information on my server:

Your files are encrypted with server-side-encryption.
