I see that there hasn’t been much movement in the area of the Virtual Drive thing and no mention of it for Mac OS users. In order to try and get close to the Smart Sync functionality of Dropbox (and other cloud file sharing systems) I thought I would just try WebDAV connections instead of the desktop client.
While this works perfectly acceptable with the file managers in any modern Linux desktop, Finder in Mac OS is painfully slow. Does anybody know of a Mac OS tweak that can speed up the performance in this case?
