Picture sync from android just work after app installation. After phone reboot it wont anymore

Thousands and thousands of messages everywhere about issues related to autosync… i wonder ,is it a fault of mine as i have just jumpo into nextcloud ?

Samsung s24plus
Andorid 15
Nextcloud playstore 3.31.4
Battery optimizaion off
Nextcloud syncronization flag enabled (why the hell it is diabled after a reboot only the divine one knows)
Permission to files everything allowed

As soon as ininstall the apk synchronization works. Play a bit add remove move and so on it works.

As soon as I reboot nextcloud does not sync anymore no logs no error nothing.

What is the problem ?

You’re not alone. This seems to be a known issue with Android 14/15 and background sync, especially on Samsung devices. Even with battery optimization off, Android may still restrict background activity after reboot. Try locking the Nextcloud app in memory (Recent Apps > tap and hold > Lock), and double-check background data and “Unrestricted battery usage” in system settings. Until the devs resolve this, a workaround might be using third-party sync apps like FolderSync.
