The issue you are facing:
if you list pictures in any folder and click on any of the pic’s you get to the Diashow Mode, if you then click on the arrow on the right border of the picture to show the next picture int this folder, you get to any other pic in this folder but not to that one the file list has been previously sorted…

Steps to replicate it:
- open a folder with pictures and sort them by name, memorise the sequence of the pictures
- click on any of the pictures
- click at the arrow to show the next picture, it will not show the pictures in same sequence order as sorted before…
