PHP error 500 when logging into NC

hey there, just installed nextcloud on my raspberry pi… but suddenly i can’t login - whether via website, or the iOS app, server throws Internal Server Error 500. here’s the log - https://pastebin.com/tSRmg1LV

Nextcloud version 12
Raspbian Jessie
Apache 2.4.26
PHP v5.6.30

i’m a total newbie on these things - can someone point me out what’s bad?

NC can’t connect to your data base. Is your data base running? Can you access the database via other service (e.g. phpmyadmin)?
