No error

Hi
with the old version 28.0.5, I had no errors, and when installing update 29.0.0, I encountered 2 problems

  1. I can no longer see the photos in the photo tab of Nextcloud, but they are present in the photo folders, I recorded a short video of the problem
  2. I got the following warning and I don’t know if it’s serious or not

and I would like to know after a version update, Nextcloud 28 to 29, if it is preferable to restart the server

Thanks for your help

In Photos under Settings I believe there is a default media folder. See if it’s changed for some reason as a result of your upgrade.

As for the warning, I think you accidentally left it out of your post.

Thanks for your help ,
My configuration with Nextcloud 28.0.5 was as follows:

I had a photo folder (Photo de Boubou), but after the update, there is a new folder which was created Photos by itself, and if I delete it, it will be recreated by itself later.

Do I have to move my photos to this new folder for them to appear in the photo tab?
Thank

As @jtr mentioned, the default media folder can be changed in the Photos app settings. That’s what worked for me.

Looks like the NC29 upgrade creates a folder called “Photos” and sets it as the default, which leads to this problem.
