Photos App – Missing Folder Path / Activity Info for Team Members
Hi everyone,
We’re using Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.9) and noticed inconsistent behaviour in the Photos app:
- When I (the uploader) open an image via photos, I can see the file’s location (folder path) and Activity info in the sidebar.
- But when my teammates open the same image (uploaded by me or others), the folder path and activity are missing — it only shows “No activity yet”.
- All images are in a shared team folder (not public links), and all users have full access via sharing.
- Even after sharing the parent folder directly, the problem persists.
- If the same file is opened via Files app → Folder → Image, everyone can see the path and activity correctly.
- This issue does not happen for files in a Group Folder (they show correctly).
It looks like the Photos app hides the original file context for shared folders unless viewed by the uploader or via Files.
Is this expected behaviour, or a bug?
Any way to make Photos show the same folder path/activity info for all team members?
