Passwords for provisioning API

Summary of the issue you are facing:

Can the provisioning API be used with APP Passwords?

I tried but got error messages. If I use the admins interactive password, the API does the job.

Is this intentional behaviour?

Could you please give a bit more of context? I do not know anything that would ring a bell with the keyword “provisioning” directly.

Wasn’t there a topic a few days ago, that they limited the admin-api that it cannot be used with app passwords?
