# Overview update announcement missing

My Nextcloud is on version 20.0.11. I get no update announcement in “Overview” like it was for the last years. Is that ok?

update-notification was disabled! Why?

Apps can be disabled after updates/upgrades. Usually when they are not compatible at the time of the upgrade, not sure if there can be other reasons. Generally, it’s a good idea to check things out a bit after an upgrade, apps might not be enabled/ready for the version, some requirements have been added or some suggestions for performance improvements.

If it wasn’t during an update, it’s hard to guess, and if you have no clue when it happened, it’s hard to find out.
