Out of sync files with only office

Hello,
I have a quite old versiion of nextcloud (18.04) but no way to upgrade for now.

My problem is the following :

  • I do edit a file with onlyoffice on nextcloud and I modify it.
    BUT :

    • if I look at the file on the file browser on nextcloud, the modification date of the file is the one before the modification
    • if I look at the file on my computer synced directory with nextcloud client, the content of the file is the one before the modification
  • if I download the file from nextcloud file browser the content is the old one.

  • if I open the file in the onlyoffice app in nexcloud, it is the new version,

  • if I download the file in the onlyoffice app in nextcloud, it is the new version.

So what I think is that the correct version is stuck in the documentserver and is not synchronised on nextcloud.

I there a way to force the synchronisation ? I this a known bug ?

Yes. This is a known bug with the community document server app.

You can setup a cron job that runs occ documentserver:flush every 10 seconds or, and it should take care of it, but versioning will still not work.

You really should configure your own version of the document server to avoid risking loss of data.
