Hi everyone,

After updating to the latest version, I’ve noticed the following:
No matter what kind of document I upload, it always shows as “0 bytes” in size. Is there a solution for this?
I’m using the Opera browser, which worked fine before.
However, I’ve noticed that it works in Chrome, so my question is: how can I fix this so it works in Opera again?

It doesn’t seem to be a general Nextcloud problem.
But it would still be great if someone could explain why it works in one browser and not another. I’m not getting any error messages.

My OS is:
CachyOS latest build with kernel 7.x
I installed Opera via “Flatpak”.

Thanks for the support.
Apart from this problem, I haven’t noticed anything else wrong with the browser.

Do you mean in your folder listing of files or within the upload transaction itself? Maybe post a screenshot.

In your browser console? See [support template](https://help.nextcloud.com/t/support-template-please-use-this-when-you-request-support/137402) to details for retrieving.

Hello,

I thought it was clear what I meant.
I’ll upload a “File” so you can see.

All Files from Opera has 0 Bytes from Chrome work.
But the question is why it works in Chrome and not in Opera; I haven’t changed any settings.

Best regards

correct , VPN is not activated.

Otherwise, I have no problems except for the internal Nextcloud instance, but the problem only affects the Opera browser; it seems to work with Chrome. Maybe I should wait until the next update; it’s well known that new updates always bring new bugs.

I’ve already gone through a few Nextcloud updates and always had new problems on the instance after an update. Sometimes the notes suddenly stop working, other times it’s the browser issue. Well, it’s never boring, that much is certain.

So, with version 34.0.1 the problem was fixed, but it also introduced new problems, including some that I experienced after the update. I think I’ll mark it in my calendar for when a Nextcloud update comes out that doesn’t have these issues for me. But I think that’ll be a long wait.
