Opening port 443 on Speeddport W724V Router for Nextcloud Box

my OwnCloud Box ist installed and connected. The only part not working is HTTPS because my router (a Speedport W724V Typ A) does not allow connection via port 443! My ISP is the german Telekom. Their service people tell me, that they do not permit port forwarding to port 443 because they connect their services through this port. Is there anybody here who has succeded in connecting to the NextCloud Box via port 443 with a Speedport W724V???. Or is this indeed impossible and this router is unusable for this purpose. Then this fact should be public.
Thank you : BenBenna

Isn’t there a community of your ISP which can tell you if it’s possible to disable these services or move them to a different port. It is an advantage to run Nextcloud on the standard https-port, but you can also use a different one.

Just use any other port for HTTPS…

Yes, there is a community which agrees, that my speedport W724V is not a particular useful item for this purpose.
I’m able to redirect one port onto a different port, but I do not understand how to teach this port to be the one for https. In “config/config.php” there is a "trusted_domain“. But my IP is constantly changing (every one or two days). So for me this seems to be a frightening task.
Thank you

you do this within the address: https://yourdomain.com:portnumber

Have a look at dynamic dns providers, that way you can update a hostname to your IP and you don’t have to update the IP manually. yourname.dyndns-provider.com->yourcurrentip
For private user there should be plenty of services for free.

This seems to be a very clever solution. I will work on this. Thank you!
