The issue you are facing:
I cant add office 365 as an smtp server

Steps to replicate it:

  1. add office 365 as smtp backend
  2. try to send test email, get error - no messages in the logs

Configs:
smtp.office365.com SMTP Server
Mailadresse as Login (not an shared mailbox)
App Passwort as Password

Tried to activated smtp auth old style - but i guess that doenst work - so we would need oauth2.0 for it
