The issue you are facing:

I installed Nextcloud on my O2switch hosting. I tried several installations, via the Nextcloud files or via their Softaculous Installer.

  1. Correct installation
  2. When I go to the browser on my Nextcloud address I often get the message “lost server connection”
  3. When I install a client on Debian or Ubuntu, during login, the client “disappears”
  4. On Nextcloud I see “Your web server is not yet properly configured for file synchronization because the WebDAV interface does not seem to work.”

O2switch replies that they do not have WebDAV.
Can I sync otherwise?

J’ai installé Nextcloud sur mon hébergement O2switch. J’ai essayé plusieurs installations, via les fichiers Nextcloud ou via leur Installateur Softaculous.

  1. Installation correcte
  2. Quand je vais sur le navigateur sur mon adresse Nextcloud j’ai souvent le message “connexion serveur perdue”
  3. Quand j’installe un client sur Debian ou bien Ubuntu, lors du login, le client “disparait”
  4. Sur Nextcloud je vois “Votre serveur web n’est pas encore correctement configuré pour la synchronisation de fichiers parce que l’interface WebDAV semble ne pas fonctionner.”

O2switch me répond qu’ils n’ont pas WebDAV.
Puis je synchroniser autrement ?

PROPPATCH and PROPFIND methods are not implemented in the o2switch servers, so Nextcloud is not fully compatible with o2switch.

Réponse officielle d’O2Switch :

De manière générale, toutes les solutions de gestion de données “cloud” seront incompatible avec les hébergements o2switch.
L’offre unique est destinée à l’hébergement de sites web, dont, d’ailleurs, tout autre usage est proscrit en C.G.V.

A des fins d’hébergement de sites web, nous utilisons des frontaux d’optimisation afin de lisser, et optimiser les requêtes PHP et SQL.
Ces frontaux ne supportent pas -techniquement- les requêtes PROPPATCH et PROPPFIND nécessaires à des solutions comme Owncloud ou NextCloud. Et donc il n’est pas fait usage en hébergement web.
