About a month ago, I shared nx Deck for closed testing. Now the app is available as an open test for everyone on Google Play.
nx Deck is an independent Android client for Nextcloud Deck, made for managing boards, lists, cards, labels, due dates, comments, and attachments from your phone.

but just out of curiosity: why did you create another app when there is already an app that brings Deck to Android phones?
It’s great that such an app already exists — I’ve used it myself, but I ran into a few bugs and some behaviors that felt unintuitive to me. I wanted to experiment with my own approach and add more stability along with the features I was missing.
My version is already finished for iPhone as well, and it will stay fully consistent with the Android release.
I’m also planning to add Talk and Tables. This project was also a way for me to test the API, so creating my own implementation felt natural.
You could say I have a bit of an obsession with trying to build a better app than the existing one — I know it might not make perfect sense to everyone, but that’s just how I am.
