Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 23.0.0
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS, docker instance
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): Apache/2.4.51 (Debian)
PHP version (eg, 7.4): PHP 8.0.14 (cli)

The issue you are facing:
Emails generated by the Notifications 2.11.1 app have timestamps in GMT time zone, even though both OS and Nextcloud show correct time zone (EST). It seems to be hard-coded in the message HTML.

Is it possible to change it so that it displays in the user’s local timezone?

If not, then is it possible to change the mail template to indicate clearly that the time shown is Zulu time? Or, better yet, use the ISO 8601 Zulu timestamp format?

This happens for all email sent using the Notifications app.

I have updated to Nextcloud 24.0.5 and the issue is still occurring.
