Not possible to connect to external webdav source

Using Nextcloud 13.x
Wanted to add a cloud space which is accessible via webdav. Put all credentials into nextcloud, but the status remains “red”.
SMB client not installed. I went to the admin section, but there is no app called smb client.

Any ideas?
