No login possible

Hello;
I have a big problem…
…after installing 9.0.52 nextcloud let me login one time and then it never let me in…

  • I write the correct username and password in the login-fields and hit Enter and nothing happens…
  • I write the correct username and password in the login-fields and klick the arrow and its comes the multiblecoice for the usernames…
  • I write a wrong password an no question for changing come…
    Has someone an idea?

Logfiles would be interesting. You are running nextcloud on sqlite or mysql? Or even an external authentication mechanism?

In the Logfile are no item over the login…

I think it’s a problem withe the themes, i switcht on…

Now i make the Update to 9.0.53 and don’t swicht the themes ob and it’s work again…

Sorry, for my bad english…

Are you by chance using older owncloud themes? I had to learn myself, that these are not thoroughly compatible.

I had a similar issue:

No.
I see under 9.0.52 a new app “Theme Switcher” and activate it…
…may be or may be not, that the app was the problem.
It looks like that the login mask don’t work correctly and never send a login wich too nextcloud…
So there are no logs in the logfiles…

Try upgrading to 9.0.53. Just replace the config.php and let’s see then …

I have updated to 9.0.53 and it’s work fine again…
…see 4 day a go…

Before my login problems 9.0.52 works also problem free - and then ich swichted a theme-app on… :-\

Just to make sure:

  1. You use the default Theme that came with NC
  2. If the new Theme app is disabled, everything works fine
  3. If the new Theme app is enable, you get errors and cannot login anymore

Is that correct?
