I’ve had the VM for Qnap from hanssonit.se running for about 2-3 weeks. It was super easy to install for a layperson. Nextcloud has synchronized appointments with cell phones via Caldav, all great.
For a few days now I got an error message on my cell phone. When I looked at the VM, it looked as if it had run through the script again or made an update. Pressed Ok and the VM started again. When the VM was booted, I could not access the Nextcloud WebUI.
I logged on to the VM with admin and my external IP, the internal IP4 and the internal IP6 should then be displayed to me first. There were no entries about any IP-Adress. VM restarted, but without any success. Still no entries.
I installed a new VM for testing. Everything works fine.
However, I would like to get my old installation up and running again, because all my calendar entries are stored there.
I am an absolute layman and do not know how to get the network up and running again.
Can someone support me?

seit ca. 2-3 Wochen habe ich die VM fĂĽr Qnap von hanssonit.se am Laufen. War fĂĽr einen Laien super einfach zu installieren. Nextcloud hat ĂĽber Caldav Termine mit Handy synchronisiert, alles Top.
Jetzt seit ein paar Tagen bekam ich eine Fehlermeldung am Handy. Als ich mir die VM anschaute, sah es aus, als hätte Sie das Script noch einmal durchgespielt oder einen Update gemacht. Auf Ok und sie startete neu. Als Sie wieder oben war konnte ich die WebUI von Nextcloud nicht aufrufen.
Ich meldete mich an der VM mit admin an und es sollte mir dann als erstes meine externe IP, die interne IP4 und die interne IP6 angezeigt werden. Dort waren keine Einträge. VM neu gestartet, aber ohne Erfolg. Immer noch keine Einträge.
Ich habe zum Testen noch ein VM installiert. Dort funktioniert Alles.
Ich würde aber gerne meine alte Installation wieder zum Laufen bringen, da dort meine ganzen Kalendereinträge hinterlegt sind.
Ich bin aber absoluter Laie und weiĂź nicht, wie ich das Netzwerk wieder zum Laufen bekommen.
Kann mich jemand unterstĂĽtzen?

i’d like to introduce the maintainer of said vm as a contact here but he’s only speaking english (and swedish)…
i am pretty sure that @enoch85 could be of any help here as i have learned that he is really willing to help his customers…

ich würde dir gerne den maintainer der vm als kontaktperson anschleppen aber der spricht nur englisch… (und schwedisch)…
der @enoch85 kann dir sicher helfen und ist auch super bemĂĽht um seine kunden. dazu solltest du aber translate.gurgel.de bemĂĽhen (also gurgel bitte als platzhalter ansehen)

for all to have a benefit from your inquiry i’d recommend you’d translate your problem and post it public on the forum. or maybe using the editfunction on your starting comment here.
english postings do generate a larger coverage this is why i’m always suggesting putting problems here in english.
damit alle etwas davon haben, wäre es toll, du würdest dein anliegen übersetzen und öffentlich im forum posten. am besten hier direkt drunter - oder auch im ausgangsposting per editfunktion.
mit englischen anfragen hast du einfach eine größere reichweite… .darum würde ich immer zu englisch raten.

That isn’t easier than do it from scratch directly on QNAP starting with Linux…
search for “Qnap VM nextcloud” and use the github link.

OK, I see it…
QNAP’s support for VMs is lacking, no question about it,.
And that’s the primary reason I try to avoid import/export from other platforms…
After installing Linux I add and mount a separate disk BEFORE installing Nextcloud.
This gives you more flexibility if/when the OS does not boot… Running on 673 and 473…
Under 100 users each… Going from v.12 to 18 without issues.
