No ringing occurs to desktop clients when trying to place calls to them. Only people who have the Nextcloud talk app installed on their phone will get call notifications. Everyone else will not get rings.
Yeah we don’t have a Desktop client for Talk at the moment. Also notifications in the desktop client can be heavily delayed.
This will be solved when we have a real Talk Desktop client at some point.
That is a shame… especially at a time that people are looking for an All-in-one replacement for Teams/Sync, etc. I suppose the only thing folks can do until a Talk Desktop app is ready, is to use Slack.
