[Nextcloudpi] Only 647.6 MB available despite using nc-automount

That was exactly my thought last night. I started fresh and so far everything is looking good. I used ssh rather than the wizard as I’ve only just seen your latest update about it. I had a quick look earlier, good stuff. Could I just ask what the Memory size under nc-limits refers to?

Again I really do appreciate your help, patience, and time.

Just wondering if this ever got resolved? I’m having the same issue. I have a 4tb harddrive that shows up in df -h with the proper size but I only have ~600 mb available. I’ve used the wizard as well as doing it through WebUI and TUI to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi,

I just finished a tool to help with support. Please, update

sudo ncp-update

and then post the output of

sudo ncp-report

Here is the output:
Edit: I just used nc-datadir and all seems good now. Sorry for the hassle.

Drive sda formatted successfuly and labeled myCloudDrive

[ nc-datadir ]
/media/USBdrive/ncdata is not empty

You could try:

[NC-Datadir] /media/USBdrive/myCloudDrive

I did something similar to get it to work.

Rob

can you post the output of

ls -l /media

and

systemctl status nc-automount

and

systemctl status nc-automount-links?

Sure.

ok, just to make sure… if you

sudo umount /mnt

, then unplug, then plug in again… does myCloudDrive appear in

ls -l /media

?

If not, get the all systemctl status from above again

Same as before…

pi@nextcloudpi:~ $ sudo umount /mnt

pi@nextcloudpi:~ $ ls -l /media

Do you think it is a configuration problem? Or could it be a hardware problem too?

Since you can mount, it seems like udiskie is unable to automount for some reason,

output of

sudo ls /etc/udev/rules.d/

?

We need to be able to automount, so it shows in /media/myCloudDrive when you plug it in.

Okay…

sudo ls /etc/udev/rules.d/
90-qemu.rules 99-com.rules 99-udisks2.rules

aha! please, remove qemu rules, reboot and retry

sudo rm /etc/udev/rules.d/90-qemu.rules

Alright, rebooting. What should I retry?

ls -l /media

and

systemctl status nc-automount

and

systemctl status nc-automount-links

and

lsblk -f

Looks better:

But still Nextcloud tells me that I would only have ~600MB of space (decreasing if I upload files to it, see the two screenshots…)
