Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can.

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

  1. I try to change default gateway to my NextcloudPi system but no luck yet

pi@nextcloudpi:~ $ ip route
default via 192.168.1.1 dev eth0 src 192.168.68.99 metric 202
192.168.1.1 dev eth0 scope link src 192.168.68.99 metric 202
192.168.68.0/24 dev eth0 proto dhcp scope link src 192.168.68.99 metric 202
pi@nextcloudpi:~ $ route
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
default 192.168.1.1 0.0.0.0 UG 202 0 0 eth0
192.168.1.1 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 202 0 0 eth0
192.168.68.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 202 0 0 eth0

I would like to have default gateway 192.168.68.1 and network is 192.168.68.0/24

How to make this change?
I have tried with editing /etc/network/interfaces file and remove those routes with ip route commands but I think it should be done via NextcloudPi script maybe?

Log entries

Nextcloud

Please provide the log entries from your Nextcloud log that are generated during the time of problem (via the Copy raw option from Administration settings->Logging screen or from your nextcloud.log located in your data directory). Feel free to use a pastebin/gist service if necessary.

PASTE HERE

Web Browser

If the problem is related to the Web interface, open your browser inspector Console and Network tabs while refreshing (reloading) and reproducing the problem. Provide any relevant output/errors here that appear.

PASTE

Web server / Reverse Proxy

The output of your Apache/nginx/system log in /var/log/____:

PASTE HERE

Configuration

Nextcloud

The output of occ config:list system or similar is best, but, if not possible, the contents of your config.php file from /path/to/nextcloud is fine (make sure to remove any identifiable information!):

Apps

The output of occ app:list (if possible).

Tips for increasing the likelihood of a response

  • Use the preformatted text formatting option in the editor for all log entries and configuration output.
  • If screenshots are useful, feel free to include them.
    • If possible, also include key error output in text form so it can be searched for.
  • Try to edit log output only minimally (if at all) so that it can be ran through analyzers / formatters by those trying to help you.

Assuming you are home lab networking this is to be set up on your internet router.

Yes, exactly

I haven’t found the way to change my old network 192.168.1.0/24 and replace it it with 192.168.68.0/24. Also default gateway is somewhere configured to 192.168.1.1 and I should replace it with 192.168.68.1. But how?

  • check your hardware
  • get the handbook
Mostly you browse your device with the gateway address on your web browser.

I think I had Static IP setting away but it was there again. I took it away (DHCP in use) and now it suddenly started to work. So this is solved.
Thanks geoW anyway for willingness to help.
