Nextcloud writes data to the main hard drive, not the external one, even if everything should be set correctly

Hello everyone, I have a problem that I can’t solve on my own, and I’m asking for help

the problem is that I added an external USB SSD to Nextcloud, which is also displayed and configured correctly in the “external storage” settings, but still Nextcloud only writes all data to the main hard drive

all data is written to /etc/hosts but should actually be written to /mnt/ssd

these are the settings under the external storage category

i got this error now too : Error copying file to target location (copied: -1 bytes, expected file size: -1 bytes)

External storage is only used if you put files in the Nextcloud folder where you mounted it. Any other data would go into the main data folder, wherever you put that.
