Hi everyone,
Today, I installed the latest version of the Windows client (3.14.3) on Windows 11.
I set up sync with my Nextcloud, using an existing folder stored on a network drive. The client recognized the files already present, and syncing appears to be working well.
However, I’m experiencing an issue with visibility in file managers. I’m using a file manager other than Windows Explorer, and it seems that the root directory where my files are stored has become hidden. While I can see the directory in Windows Explorer, I can only view it in other file managers (e.g., Total Commander) if I enable “show hidden files.” Interestingly,
I’m also using the Nextcloud Windows client (3.13.2) on a Windows 10 system , and I don’t experience this issue there.
The folder properties show the following attributes:
- Read-only: Partially checked
- Hidden: Grayed out and unchangeable
- Archive: Unchecked
Has anyone encountered this issue or know how to adjust these settings so the folder isn’t hidden?
Thanks a lot,
Rüdiger
