Nextcloud VM Web vs. Server Login

Hello! I am a new user and haven’t worked much with Linux before. I appreciate your time looking into my question.

I recently installed Nextcloud VM on my Windows machine using VirtualBox. I followed the process and tutorialization. When I finished the process, I logged into the web portal using the username and password I set up during the installation process. I was then able to use the IP address and/or the dedyn.io address to login to nextcloud. However, on the VM, when I type in the same username and password I use on the web, it says my credentials are incorrect. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

Have you added the web access domain as trusted domain? Without that, NextCloud may only work with those domain / IP address added to it as trusted domain.
