Nextcloud v19.0.0 Snap Install - Increase disk space

Hi,
I am trying to increase the disk space available to my nextcloud install, originally set up with Snap (during linux install)

I set it up with 200gb, but now I need to give it more.
The install is a virtual machine, so allocating disk space is easy.

But, linux/nextcloud won’t automatically allocate this new space.

So does anyone know what I need to type to increase the space?

unfortunately, I am not a Linux expert :frowning:

Hopefully this makes sense.

Thanks,

Tim

Hi,
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Tim

How did you set it up to 200gb in the first place?

I’m having the same problem but if I can reinstall and set my size from the get-go that would be great.

It depends a lot on how the system was set up originally. Growing a virtual disk isn’t a big deal, but the steps are different depending on if LVM is used, etc. I normally use parted.

This is really not a question about Nextcloud at all since it will show the free space of whatever disk the data directory is on. You can follow any guide that fits your system, but remember to back it up before messing with it. Murphy gets bonus points for partitions.
