I have installed a nextcloud installation on an intel nuc when adding files through the interface on the local disk, the rights are:
drwxr-xr-x 4 www data www data
When I add files to my sftp share in nextcloud that I added via the Extarnel storage interface, the file rights are:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root users
I’m not geek I want to say to start with 
- But would like to force rights to:
drwxr-xr-x 4 www data www data
Is it possible ?
I do not understand why it uses root user?

On the machine running sftp, the rights to the files from nextcloud will be:
-rw-rw-r - + 1 rene users )
