Nextcloud stuck in maintenance mode after 14

Hi
I ran the upgrade from the Android mobile phone app. I set it going and then switch the phone off. It is still happening 12 hours later with the Nextcloud logo and this:
This Nextcloud instance is currently in maintenance mode, which may take a while.

This page will refresh itself when the Nextcloud instance is available again.

Contact your system administrator if this message persists or appeared unexpectedly.

Just to let you know, I went in and disabled maintenance mode and now I am getting
Possible CSRF attack. Connection will be closed.
Which then takes me to upgrade button which I run and then I get that message again.

This is on shared hosting so I can’t get to root.
