Nextcloud stopped working during update

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 25
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): 20.04.6
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): 2.4.41
PHP version (eg, 7.4): 7.4.3

The issue you are facing:

During an update to NC 25 from 24, and with no evident errors, the Web interface stopped responding, and the Android client is telling me that NC is in maintenance mode.

Now, I absolutely need to repair this but I am not sure what is the best approach. NC hosts about 200 GB of data for few users.

Hints? Caveats?

Thanks a lot!

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y

Error logs?
Habe you disabled the maintance mode manually?

I could complete the “broken” update using occ directly.
Maintenance mode was already off, but still the apps connecting detected maintenance mode.
After running occ, I got the “new” 25 version, now I need to step up, but before that I will need to tell nextcloud to use php 8.1 instead of 7.4…
Thanks
