You need to start providing more information when you request help.
Is it a private NC server standing on your desk at home or is it hosted by a web hoster? If private, what is your internet connection speed? What hard drives run in your server?
What is the current download speed of your large files?
What software runs on your server? Is Nextcloud the only service? Apache or nginx? …
