When including the Collabora Office window (version 23.05.4.2), there remains a gap at the top, so it does not start at the top of the Nextcloud window. This leaves a gap where you can see the Nextcloud window behind it. This is not serious, but it does not look good and wastes space. I would like the edge of the Collabora window to start a bit higher up.
I tested it with the Docker version and with the native installation of the DEB packages from CODE. No difference.
Nextcloud 27.1.1. on a server running Ubuntu 22.04. Testet a.o. with Client Chrome Version 117.0.5938.149 on Kubuntu 22.04.
Is there somewhere to set this (I haven’t found anything), or is it a bug?
+1 It was aligned properly on a fresh install but I swapped to onlyoffice to try it, found it didnt work and now upon switching back to Collabora, theres a gap at the top of the editor. It doesnt show up when viewing the file via shared link. This also causes the sheet picker at the bottom of the editor to be cutoff so much the names are no longer visible.
Thank you for your addition and confirmation of my observation, Taylor Stapleton!
You are right, of course: the entire Office is positioned too far down the window, causing it to be cut off at the bottom and a gap to form at the top.
For a better explanation, a second updated screenshot where you can also see the bug at the bottom. By the way, this screenshot was taken after a fresh install of the latest version of the Collabora server directly from the native Collabora repository, without Docker.
I hope someone will take care of the problem. By the way, I didn’t find anything in the configuration files that I could use to fix the problem myself.
Same problem here.
My configuration:
Nextcloud 27.1.3
Nextcloud office 8.2.2
Collabora Office 23.05.5.3
Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
As stated here it appears the problem is Cadviewer. Disabling this app, the Nextcloud office works as expected. Hopefully the next Cadviewer update will actually fix the bug.
Great! Absolutely correct. I couldn’t believe it. But it’s absolutely true. I have actually installed the CADViewer app. When I deactivate it, the Nextcloud Office window is aligned correctly again!
So many thanks for the info! I probably would never have thought of that.
